Prepping & Ammo

Hey all today I'm going to be talking about 2 of my favorite things, guns & prepping. Alot of people out there that prep as I do tend to wonder "When do I have enuff ammo?" the answer is 2 sided, the first answer (and the easiest) is that it's up to u, it depends on what makes u feel comfortable, if 500 rounds for each of your firearms is what u feel comfortble having stocked up, then that's what u go for. The second answer is a little more complicated and a little more my personal opinion, so feel free to ignore it. Basically in my opinion u should have 2000 rounds for each of your firearm catagories, those catagories are ......

1)Main Battle Rifle

2)Pistol/Sidearm

3)Long Gun/Long range rifle for hunting or long range defensive shots(usually a Bolt Action rifle)

4)Shotgun

5).22

This Philosophy is simply my own personal preference, but I find it useful. The details are that no matter how many firearms u have of each catagory, u should feel comfortable having 2000 rounds per catagory, not per firearm.

In otherwords if u are using an AK47 as your main Battle Rifle, and u happen to have 2 AK's u still only need 2000 rounds of the ammo. Same thing goes with all the catagories. The only exceptions would be if u have 2 firearms that could be used in a particular catagory, and they use different ammo, then u should choose which one u will stock up the ammo for unless money is no issue for u, in which case, Congratulations!!!

Anyway, the other exception would be if your Main Battle Rifle and your Long Gun use the same caliber, a good example if if your long gun is a .308, and your main battle rifle is something along the lines of an AR10 or some sort of FAL or clone, in which case u should still maintain 2000 rounds for each rifle, not 2000 rounds to share between the 2 because they fall into 2 different catagories, therefore are for 2 different uses.

All the catagories should be pretty elf explainatory, except for the .22, for that I recommend having both a good .22 rifle & a good .22 pistol, mainly for small game, but can be used as a last resort self defense weapon, and I recommend both the rifle & pistol be compatable with .22lr not any other .22 caliber variant because it is the most widely used, and therefore most easy to come by.

Now as for choosing a caliber for your catagories, thats a long discussion that revolves around personal preference, ammo availability, ammo price & ammo commonality, so we'll leave that for another time.

Blog Update

Well for anyone who's been paying attention, it's been quite awhile since I last posted on here. The reasons are simple enuff, between work & family I've just been very busy, and the only internet related activity I've been able to keep up with is my youtube account, which itself can be quite a time drain. But I do plan on stopping in at least once a week to blog about whatever pops into my head, along with making some of my vids available here so u don't have to tread through the youtube waters to see what I've been up to.

I would like to let everyone know that my political stuff (videos & blogs) will probably be fewer and farther between, there are a few reasons for this but the 2 most important are that I feel that between my blog posts, my few articles I've written for another website, and my videos, I've said about all I can without being redundant, and he other reason is that I have found a better hobby than talking, blogging and making vids about politics, and that hobby is prepping.

Now I've been into prepping for awhile now (almost 2 years) but seeing the way things seem to be going in the world right now, my prepping efforts have been stepped up quite a bit, and that change in my life is being reflected in both my blogs & my YT videos. So I hope for any of u out there that stumble across this, that's something that your interested in hearing about.

I've already made several vids on YT about the prepping aspect of my life, and I'll be posting those on here as well for anyone interseted.

Anyway, that's it, appreciate u checking out my blog.

Take care & shoot straight!!

The Budweiser Story

The Budweiser Story

(not a joke)

This is TRUE!

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at
those

who died on the 11th of September,
2001...
Thought you might like to know what happened
in a little town north of Bakersfield ,
California

On September 11th,

A Budweiser employee was making a delivery
to a convenience store in a California town
named McFarland..

He knew of the tragedy that had
occurred
in New York when he entered the business
to find the two Arabs, who owned the business,
whooping and hollering to
show their approval
and support of this treacherous attack.

The Budweiser employee went to his truck,
called his boss and told him
of the very upsetting event!

He didn't feel he could be in that store with
those
horrible people. His boss asked him,
'Do you think you could go in there long
enough
to pull every Budweiser product and item
our beverage company sells there?
We'll never deliver to them again.'

The employee walked in,
proceeded to pull every single product his
beverage company provided and left
with an incredible grin on his face.

He told them never to bother to call for
a delivery again.

Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice
for that community.

Just letting you know how Kern County
handled this situation. And Now

The Rest Of The Story:

it seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man
are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.
Pepsi called his boss who told him to
pull all Pepsi products as well!!!
That would include Frito Lay, etc.

Furthermore, word spread and
all vendors followed suit! At last report, on June 26,
2009,
Fareed Katib closed the store and filed
bankruptcy!

Good old American
Passive-Aggressive A$$ Whoopin!

Pass this along, America needs to know
that we're all working together!

Thank a teacher...
